2. Services
Services may include:- Bespoke website design
- Bespoke website development
- Next.js website development
- Framer, Webflow and WordPress development
- Branding, logo design and brand strategy
- Website Hosting
- SEO
- Print management
- Graphic design
- Timeblocks (prepaid time-based work)
- Capability Decks
3. Quotes & Scope
Each project is scoped based on what is agreed at the time.If requirements change or expand during the project, additional work may be quoted separately.
4. Payment Terms
Projects (websites and larger work)
- 50% deposit to begin
- 25% when design stage is complete
- 25% due either:
- within 4 weeks, or
- when the project is ready to go live
(whichever is sooner)
Branding & Logo Work
- 75% deposit to begin
- Remaining balance due:
- within 4 weeks, or
- on completion
(whichever is sooner)
Timeblocks, SEO & Print
- Payment required in full upfront
5. Timeblocks
Timeblocks are prepaid hours used for design, development, updates or support.- Timeblocks are non-refundable
- Time is deducted as work is completed
- Bonus hours may be included depending on the package
- Unused time always remains available
6. Hosting
Hosting is offered on a monthly or annual basis.- You may cancel at any time
- If payments stop, services may be suspended or removed
- Where possible, files will be provided and reasonable support given to transfer away
7. Revisions & Changes
Reasonable revisions are included as part of the agreed work.If requests go beyond the original scope, additional work may be quoted or billed using Timeblocks.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing:- Content, images and materials required for the project
- Feedback and approvals in a reasonable timeframe
9. Timelines
Timeframes are estimates based on the information available at the time.Delays caused by client feedback, content or third parties may extend delivery.
10. Ownership & Usage
- Final work is transferred to the client once full payment is received
- Dean Rice Design Co. retains the right to showcase completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes
- Any underlying tools, frameworks or methods remain the property of Dean Rice Design Co.
11. Refunds & Cancellations
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun
- No refunds are provided for completed or partially completed work
- Timeblocks are non-refundable
12. Liability
All work is carried out in good faith and with care.However, Dean Rice Design Co. is not responsible for:
- Hosting downtime or server issues
- Third-party services or platforms
- Print errors once approved
- SEO performance or search engine rankings
- Any indirect or consequential loss
13. Communication
Communication is typically handled via email or your preferred agreed channels.Response times may vary depending on workload, but all messages will be responded to the same or next day when reasonably possible.
14. Ownership & Usage
- Final work is transferred to the client once full payment is received
- Dean Rice Design Co. retains the right to showcase all work for portfolio, website, social media and marketing purposes
- Client names, logos, and project details may be referenced as part of this
- Any underlying tools, frameworks or methods remain the property of Dean Rice Design Co.
- Unless otherwise agreed in advance
15. Reviews & Feedback
- Any feedback, testimonials or reviews provided may be used for marketing and promotional purposes
- This may include use on the website, social media, proposals or other materials
- Where appropriate, names and business names may be included
- Unless otherwise agreed in advance
16. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.17. Acceptance
